![]() ![]() I'm a reasonable person so please make offers that are reasonable as well. (Now Liberty Ford) I'm told that all the previous owners before me were family members. It's been a Maryland car since it was sold new at Joe Grimm Ford in Randallstown MD. Someone just got specific at the MVA in MD. There are no Title Issues - This car still has a 5 digit odometer so when it rolled over it technically exceeded the mechanical limit. Turns heads wherever I take it but I simply have too many projects to finish this year so this one needs a new owner who will love and enjoy it. It's a pleasure to drive with super soft cloth interior and would make a great cruiser, restoration project or just a fun daily driver. I do have the original Ford keys, owner's manual, and Dealer Product Brochure which goes with the car. I don't have the original radio anymore but they can be found on E-Bay or local junkyards for $40 to $50. #FORD CROWN VICTORIA BLUETOOTH#The A/C is super cold and the original radio was replaced with a CD Bluetooth unit. This car runs great and tracks down the road as it should. The vinyl top has lots of wear and should be replaced and the right rear power window is slow. Small dings here and there and the paint is shiny but thin. Has a dent in the rear bumper which is shown in the pictures. Has all the power equipment of the year (factory equipment package # 112) I purchased it three years ago and replaced tires, hoses, plugs, wires cap & rotor, EGR valve, A/C compressor, front rotors & pads, rear shoes, exhaust from the cat back, all fluids flushed and replaced regularly. ![]() ![]() I would rate it a 7 of 10 and note that it's been garage kept most of its 29 years. The speedometer was now part of a five dial instrument cluster. The dash had been revised for ’56 and the ‘Astra-Dial’, the transparent cover over the speedometer that was introduced just 2 years previously, was now gone. You can see how the ’56 compares in our article about the 1955 Crown Victoria.Īs well as offering plenty of exterior chrome trim, the Crown Victoria also boasted the finest interior appointments. The rear of the car saw new, larger taillights. The parking lamps were now rectangular, there was a new hood ornament and the V8 cars now sported a new ‘rocket’ emblem to show off the V8 status. The front grille, while retaining its concave look, had a different bar pattern losing the mesh look. While Ford continued to use the same bodies from the previous year there were several external changes. Back seats with chrome trim running across the top The center armrest was another feature of the Crown Victoria. ![]() This band was also repeated inside of the car working its way down the pillars, across the upper part of the side panels and carried on over the top of the back seat.
